We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The location is at Tanjung Malai which is quite isolated from other happening area such as Kuah town or Pantai Cenang. If you are without transportation, this hotel is not recommended. However, the hotel does provide shuttle to Pantai Cenang on certain hours. Other transportation - taxi which you'll need to walk for 5-10min to the gate entrance to find 1.
My first impression: - Good exterior but a lot of improvement required for the room and doorway. Old carpet smell is just too strong when you entered the doorway. Our room is a deluxe seaview room. It's seaview, but block by a big tree in front of the room. No balcony. Looking left and right. All the others rooms have a balcony. It's our luck :(
There is a lot of improvement on the furniture to be at a 4 star hotel. Luckily it does upgrade the TV to be 32" LCD.
Breakfast is good, a lot of variety especially on Sunday breakfast. Buffet dinner which cost RM45/pax is a no no. Only 2 tables - 5 adults, 2 childrens. Most of the food is cold and not so tasty. Desserts choices are very less.
Swimming pool is excellent especially for the kids. Huge area and it's shady in the evening.
