Didi 1st Day in School

9 May 2012
Suddenly, babysitter gave me a call on 8th of May and said that she has some illness that required operation and need to take a few months rest. She said Didi should be ready to go to school by now. So, with that, Didi was sent to school the next day. No other options that we can have for the last minutes arrangement.

Luckily, Koko can take care of Didi. Koko is very protective of Didi and will not allow anyone to scold Didi, even me or Hubby. He'll stand in front of Didi if saw the cane being brought out. Koko will even cry if he saw Didi was been carried by strangers. So, luckily Koko was there for Didi on the first day of school.

7.15am, still sleeping soundly.
Having his milk and cheeky Koko is playing around the room.
On the way to school. Didi was having flu after a few days of swimming in Redang Island.

When I left both of them in school, Didi was still happy to go in with Koko. Koko walked hand in hand with Didi and even helps him to carry his bag. When I talked to teacher during lunch, she said Didi did cry and was looking for Mummy. Didi was placed in the same class with Koko for temporary for him to get used to it. Koko said Didi was sitting on his leg most of the time when they were in the classroom.
When we fetched him home @530pm. Didi looks very happy in the classroom.
Koko took Didi's shoes for him to wear and then hold his hand. Accompanied by Uncle Woon.
Very happy to see us there.

Second day, Didi was been separated out and join the Year 3 friends.

Teacher said Didi must hold something on his hand. At first, he was carrying his bag and water tumbler all the time until teacher managed to convince him to put his bag down. So, now every morning, I'll give him something to hold on his hand. Either a biscuit or a book or chocolate. Something for Didi to hold to make him feel better.

Today, 16th May, after 7 days in school, Didi already know the way going to school. This morning, when the car reached the school junction, Didi started to cry and said 'Bu yau, bu yau...' Haiiz... not sure how long will this transition need to be. Most important thing that I'm praying hard is Didi doesn't fell sick.
