22months old..

Didi is 22 months old today. What a great milestone to achieve. 2 more months to go for 2 years old. Time really  flies. Fast and not waiting for you to realize about it. Today seems to be slow, but when recall on yesterday, it was fast over.

So, what has Didi been achieving so far? For a 22months old baby, I'm very glad with Didi's progress. He has been picking up a lot of new words. 'On light', 'on light' was his word last night when I forced him to sleep at 9pm. Then this morning, I have to force him to wake up and he has been shouting 'avatar', 'avatar' as he didn't wanna get into the car. Didi can repeat words with a very good pronunciation. 'Rabbit', 'parrot', 'panda', etc..

His favorite word for his book is 'fly'. He means the butterfly. Somehow, he just doesn't wanna pronounce the word 'butterfly'. On the fruit list, Didi can say 'papaya', 'nana'- for banana, 'nut-nut'- for coconut (why nut nut? I was wondering too, wouldn't it suppose to be coco).

The thing that he will ask everyday. ' Heart-shape'. When I told him to get his vitamin, he knows that I'm referring to his heart-shape.

You may feel it is tough to catch what Didi is trying to say. For mummy, it's never a problem. That's the beauty to have your kids on your side everyday. You watch them to grow up, changing on phases, playing different games and new actions everyday.

Activities in Pangkor

Sand playing on the beach. As I can remembered, Didi hasn't been to beach since he was born. He was so particular with the sand getting into his shoes and without shoes, he didn't dare to walk. 'Dirty, dirty'.
On the beach, before heading for a sea swim.
Didi needs his shoes on while walking on the beach.
Having fun together
Koko getting tanned under the sun.
and now the fun started...
Banana boat ride
Going on his 2nd ride
Koko said this is the best ride among all. He went for 2 round.
In the water, was afraid at the beginning but after awhile was really enjoying it.
Didi was just looking from the beach, curious but he doesn't wanna get wet and don't wanna take his shoes out.
Boat ride for snorkeling activities. Koko was tired, just woke up from his noon nap.
While others were snorkeling, this was what they were doing.
Guess what's that?

The snorkeling trip wasn't as great as I wished it to be. Commercialize and everyone ended up in the same spot causing crowd in a limited water area. Coral island - is with all dead coral. Having a hard time when going down to swim in this island. Still prefer the beach at the end of Teluk Nipah, near to the Guan Yin temple. Anyhow, it's a new experience for Koko and Didi.

Pangkor Island Visit

10 March 2012..
Pangkor Island is very different from what I have remembered. My last trip to Pangkor was more than 10yrs ago when hubby and I were just graduated from PUO. The jetty area has been expanded. Many shoplots are build around it, selling the local delicacy from Pangkor Island.
Pangkor Jetty @ Lumut.
Local food from Pangkor Island
Helping with the luggage.
Ferry to get over to the island.
Ticket RM10 adult and RM5 child for 2 ways.
On the ferry. Didi is curious with the water sound.
Koko is having fun with the cousin sisters.
Waiting at the hotel lobby while waiting for check-in.
After check-in to the room, it was almost 3pm and has passed their noon nap. So, we ended up in the pool for the evening.
Both of them were really enjoying themselves in the pool on the evening. Koko can jump into the pool, with his head submerged into the water. On our last trip, he was still afraid of water. But this time, he was so smart, showing his swimming skill - hand paddling with leg walking in the water. Didi is a daring guy. He just walked by himself in the pool. Though fell down twice into the water, he was still ok to go by his own. Watching mom was so worry.
Watching TV and lying on bed while waiting for dinner.

11 March 2012..
The next morning,  once woke up, Koko already wanted to go back for swimming. He got his suit ready and asked me not to keep it in the bag anymore.
Ready with his suit to get wet
Koko has a lot of fun with the water activities on the beach. He didn't even bother to look for me or hubby. Didi is still the reserved person, very careful on each of the new things that he explored.

12 March 2012..
Hornbill watching in the morning near to the beach area. The birds are only here in the morning. It can just stood there and can look like a fake one, with a huge black eye. Each of them looks the same, same colour and size. Koko commented that the nose is so big and keep on showing it by pulling his nose.

Killing the worm by scratching on the tree branch.
Continue to scratch before the worm is been eaten.
There are so many of them.
The 2 little curious boys looking at the worm which was dropped by the hornbill.
As usual, Didi was with me all the time.

Colourful Bengaluru

There was a lot of things to get in BA, if only you can master the skill of negotiating. Best is almost all of them can speak in English. It makes communication easy.
Shops @Commercial street.
Check out the moon. It was so near and round. Yes, it was Chap Goh Meh and I were in India. The shopping streets are packed with people at night. There were streets and streets of shops - vertical, horizontal. We were always rushing for time as the cab was waiting for us - 4hrs. We never really finish the shopping lists cause there were so much to see.
Jewelry
Key chains - got this for my boys
Earring and ladies stuff by the road.
Fridge magnet.
Elephant
and elephant..
The collection that I got - some for sis and some for bbsister.
Punjabi shirt for sis.
The bag collection - Koko and didi shook their heads.
My room.
View from my room.
Exterior of the hotel.
The hotel is with the name 'palace'. Yes, it is a palace, when you enter the hotel compound, you have found yourself in another different side of the world. It has a multi-storey carpark - auto. Security scanning before you can enter. Luxurious room. And most importantly, free of dust.
Pak guard at the entrance.
Lastly, Princes of Leela. (my conclusion :))

Food in Bengaluru

As been expected, most of the food is with a lot of spices and chilly. I am quite a fan of spicy food, so it didn't bother me a lot.
Salmon fillet and fruit punch @ Zen, Leela Palace Hotel.
This was my first dinner. Japanese food in India. We thought of going for some Asian non-spicy food for a try. The most expensive salmon I ever had before.
Chicken, Capati, Biryani Rice@Jamavar, Leela Palace Hotel.
Minced lamb, Chicken and Naan. @Jamavar, Leela Palace Hotel.
The after meal dessert.
For the next 2 nights, we decided India should go back for Indian food. This is a luxurious hotel. All the cutlery are coated in gold colour. You can't really notice it under the dim light. The spices on the above was something very special that we can't find in Msia. It's their after meal 'dessert'. Raw spices - yellow - taste of mint, black- kind of 'beetle' smell, white - soap taste.
BB free from Intel BA.
We were so lucky. First day in office, we have managed to be served with BB ice-cream. This was the first time this event was held on the site. 3 scoops.. wow..
Lunch @ Intel SRR Cafe
Lunch was served as buffet. Eat all you can. Capati, rice, a lot of different type of curry and nuts. Beetroot (red colour)- another food that you seldom see cook in Malaysia.
My favorite - Breakfast @ Citrus Leela Palace Hotel.
Breakfast will never ever miss them - onion chutney (this is the best), coconut chutney(just a little bit for me) and coriander chutney. They go very well with the vade.
KFC - check out the size.
